OH-Boost research group visited Mo Saaremaa

The Combivet and OH-Boost research group visited in November 2023 Mo Saaremaa, a local milk product manufacturing facility. The visitors wanted to find ways to use the waste products created during milk production and had a unique idea to extract milk-derived extracellular vesicles from these byproducts. 

The staff at MO Saaremaa warmly welcomed the researchers and gave them a detailed tour of the milk production facility. During the visit, they had thoughtful discussions with the factory experts about the feasibility of their proposed project. The workers also provided the group with product samples to test the extraction of extracellular vesicles which showed the company's willingness to explore new ideas and contribute to scientific advancements. 

The visit was fruitful and set the groundwork for a potential collaboration between the research group and the company. The researchers plan to work closely with the provided samples to isolate and analyze milk-derived extracellular vesicles.
