On May 19, 2025, we were proud to witness a significant academic milestone achieved by Subhashini Muhamdiram Muhamdiram Ralalage, a dedicated specialist at the Chair of Veterinary Biomedicine and Food Hygiene and a valued member of the OH-Boost project team.
Subhashini successfully defended her doctoral dissertation titled:
"Dynamics of embryo-endometrial communications mediated by extracellular vesicles",
earning the academic degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Veterinary Science.
Her dissertation represents an important contribution to the understanding of reproductive biology and the complex mechanisms of communication between embryo and endometrium, particularly through extracellular vesicles. This work not only enhances scientific knowledge in the field but also reflects the high level of research excellence within our team.
The supervision was conducted by Professor Alireza Fazeli, and the official opponent of defense was Professor Dimitrios Rizos Babalouka of the National Institute for Agricultural and Food Research and Technology (INIA/CSIC), Spain — both esteemed scientists.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Subhashini on this well-deserved success. Her dedication, scientific curiosity, and professionalism have been an inspiration to colleagues, and her achievements make us extremely proud and happy. We deeply appreciate her work and are confident that she will continue to make meaningful contributions to science.
We wish her continued success and fulfillment in all future endeavors.
Congratulations, Dr. Subhashini!
